General

By using www.eblinds.co.nz you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions. All website transactions with eBlinds Ltd will be in accordance with these terms and conditions.

E Blinds Ltd has the discretion to decline any order placed or cancel any order for any reason.  Whilst every effort is made to ensure prices are always correct on our website, mistakes can occur from time to time. If this is the case, E Blinds Ltd will notify you of the error and you will then have the choice to either accept the correct price or to cancel your order.

Please keep your login and password safe; customers are liable for every order made under their login. (only required if customers can charge orders to their account)

All prices displayed on our website are in NZ Dollars and include GST.

Quotations & Payment

Quotations are valid for 14 days. We require full payment upon ordering.

E Blinds Ltd use DPS for all online credit card payments. We do not collect or store any credit card information. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details. DPS is New Zealand's largest and most preferred gateway provider.

Transactions will appear on your credit card statement as eBlinds for any transactions through this website.

Delivery/Shipping

We will endeavor to dispatch all orders received within 15 working days of receiving payment for your order.  If the requested product is out of stock, you will be notified and you will have the option to cancel, change your order or wait for the product to become available.

There is a surcharge for Rural Delivery. We do not deliver to overseas addresses.

All deliveries will not require a signature unless specifically stated by you.

If the blinds were damaged in transit, the customer must notify eBlinds Ltd within 48 hours of delivery.

Refunds/Returns

If you receive a product that is damaged please contact us within 48 hours to request a replacement.  We expect the product to be returned to us ‘unused’, in its original packaging, using the same method as the initial delivery. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item. If your returns request is approved a replacement will be sent or a refund will be made.

Warranty

eBlinds Ltd provides a 5-year warranty on fabrics and a 3-year warranty on all other components and workmanship from the date of delivery. Any blinds for which there is a warranty claim must be returned to eBlinds at the customer’s cost.

This warranty is not transferable; The customer must present proof of purchase for the warranty claim to be valid.

This warranty shall apply to:

  • Workmanship;
  • Operating mechanism – including chain control and springs;
  • All components – including head tube, bottom bars, brackets;
  • Motors and electronics.

This warranty shall not apply under the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect installation or wiring, or accidental damage of the blinds by the user;
  • Misuse of the product, negligence or improper maintenance;
  • Fraying of the fabric as a result of improper use e.g. the user allowing a roller blind chain to rub on the fabric when raising or lowering the blind;
  • Fading or discolouration of fabric. eBlinds’ products are manufactured with high quality materials and components. However some colour fading and shrinkage are completely normal and should be expected under New Zealand’s high UV levels during the life time of blind.
  • Slight colour fabric shade and texture variations that may occur from batch to batch of materials that are used to manufacture blinds; failure on the part of the customer to take proper care of the blinds; mold and mildew on blinds installed in damp areas.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any loss, damage or injury arising directly or indirectly from any defect in any blinds or any other breach of our obligations is limited to the lesser of:  the price of the blinds complained of; the cost of repairing or replacing the defective blinds; or the actual loss or damage suffered by you.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable in any event for any loss of profits, consequential, indirect or special damage, loss or injury of any kind suffered by you or any other person. The supply of blinds is subject to availability of materials. E Blinds may replace components or fabrics with new components or fabrics, and the customer accepts that new components or fabrics may differ (both visually and in terms of function) to those originally purchased by the customer.

Exact match to sample colours cannot be guaranteed as colour and weaves may vary between samples.
